Our team is not an organized theater company, but has worked together in such fun, successful, and twisted combinations that we just can’t help doing so over and over again:
Rob Reese and Matt Schloss met while working together, touring the world with The Wooster Group. Eric Brenner originated the roles of Erica & Brunnhilde in Rob Reese’s Survivor: Vietnam! Rob and Eric met in high school choir. Seriously.
These three recently collaborated with Kamala Sankaram on the steampunk chamber opera Miranda. Eric Brenner sang the role of D.A.V.E., Matt Schloss designed and ran sound, for which he received the 2012 New York Innovative Theater Award for Outstanding Sound Design! Rob Reese Directed and co-wrote the libretto with Creator, Composer, Star Kamala Sankaram. Miranda’s sold out 2012 run at HERE Arts Center was enthusiastically received by critics and received the 2012 New York Innovative Theater Award for Outstanding Production of a Musical.
David Allen, Shane Breaux, and Rodney Umble have worked together with Rob since the blockbuster sci-fi parody adventure Keanu Reeves Saves the Universe. They’ve improvised as Amnesia Wars Improvisation, run several variety shows, mounted sketch revues, short plays, video projects and radio shows.
Be sure to check out and support their individual projects as well!
